RETURNS POLICY & PROCEDURE
101 DAY ONLINE RETURNS POLICY
Cheapskates is dedicated to you as our customer and
your satisfaction: If you receive any merchandise that you are unhappy with for
any reason, simply return the item to us within the designated time frame,
unworn and unused and with its original ticketing and we will refund* or
exchange or the product.
Exchanges (full price items) -101 days from date of purchase
Refunds (full price items) -101 days from date of purchase
*Refunds &/or Exchange not available on sale or
discounted items.
Sale items – Are not eligible for Refund
THE RETURNS PROCESS
If for any reason you would like to return your ONLINE
purchase to us, please follow the simple steps below:
Complete the Cheapskates Return Form after downloading it from this link.
Pack the item you are returning along with with your invoice/receipt/proof of
purchase in a secure carton, or reuse the original packaging. Please
ensure that all items are securely enclosed in the Carton or Courier
Satchel you are using to return them in as we are not able to accept them
if damaged or missing on arrival.
Label the package with the correct Cheapskates Store returns address. Please
phone the store and quote your order # if you need to clarify which store
you made the purchase from.
Send with your preferred courier. For security and peace of mind, we strongly
suggest using the track and trace option as Cheapskates is not liable for
lost return parcels.
Once we have received, we will inspect and process the goods within 24 hours to
ensure you receive your refund/exchange as quickly as possible.
ONLINE RETURNS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cheapskates returns department operates during
regular business hours.
Once your returned item is received, we will inspect and
process the goods within 2 business days. Please note that if you are wanting
to exchange or return goods, they must be returned to Cheapskates in the
original undamaged packaging , with original ticketing and in brand new
condition.
Should the packaging be marked or in unsatisfactory
condition there may be a chance that we will not exchange or refund the goods.
Please ensure you pack them inside a suitable box/carton for shipping.
For hygienic reasons, Cheapskates is not able to do an exchange or refund on foundation or under garments.

WARRANTY or FAULTY GOODS RETURNS PROCEDURE:
All warranty or faulty goods returns will be handled in
accordance with the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act
If you have a faulty item that you would like assessed,
please follow the simple steps:

Once receive your warranty item back at our premises, we will inspect the goods
and assess to determine a possible cause for the defect. It may be that we will to laisse with our
supplier during this process to get their opinion on the validity of any
Warranty Claim. If after assessment, the goods are deemed to have not performed
to a satisfactory standard we will at our discretion and in accordance with the
NZ Consumer Guarantees Act either Repair, Replace or Refund the goods.
We aim to have your refund processed within 2 days of
receiving it; however, some faults must be assessed/approved by our supplier
before a refund or replacement can be issued. In this case we will keep you
informed. Please allow approximately two weeks for the processing of your
faulty return once received. If an order is deemed faulty, we will reimburse
your return postage.
Please Note: Skate Decks do not carry and warranty against breakage due to the
nature of this sport. Some deck manufacturers do have a limited 90 day Warranty
against delamination caused by faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty
does not cover breakage due to any or improper use, water damage or general
wear and tear. When skating lease ensure you land with your feet over the
trucks to avoid breakage.
